Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. She made her debut in the year 2001. She had a smaller role in Home and Away. Her performance in the limited part was so captivating that the casting agent of the show requested her to play the main roles in the series. She auditioned however for the role but was not chosen. Instead in the same season, she played Cassie Turner who was an unruly teenager who was in foster care. She was praised by both the viewers and the reviewers for her performance.
