Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook writer who has been awarded Emmy awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for another 27 seasons. Ina started her career in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and also the budget. Though she found the career intellectually stimulating initially eventually she lost her interest in it and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful over the course of 18 years until she decided to sell it. Then she began writing the first book. In the following years, numerous books were released and she also wrote columns for magazines. Her Food Network TV show also was launched with great success. She also sells a range of items ranging from cooking materials as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina she is a self-taught cook she has never attended the culinary institute or at an establishment. Ina is well-known for her simple approach to cooking and effortless entertaining. Her most famous recipes are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
