Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in several Broadway plays before breaking through to national prominence with Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. Within the same calendar year she released her first musical album, The album is Tina Time. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. The film was a massive success and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she signed with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles as contrast to her image of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was an effective television director in various series like Supernatural & The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained there ever since.
